If a worker wishes to make a disclosure to you under the Public Interest Disclosure Act or you are involved in the disclosure procedure in any way:

1.  If you have one, read the Whistleblower`s Policy and ensure that the worker has a copy

2.  Is the proposed disclosure of a particularly sensitive nature? If not, ask the worker if he would like to be accompanied by a colleague.

3.  If it is, you may refuse to allow an accompanying colleague. Explain your reasons for this refusal to the worker.
