Checklist for dealing with performance issues of non employees

The tips below should be followed when workers are underperforming in order to minimise the risk of the relationship between the worker and the company being deemed to be one of employment:
  1. DO NOT follow the company`s performance management procedures or refer to them at all.
  2. DO NOT hold a formal meeting to discuss performance concerns.
