This notice has been prepared to ensure that you are aware of your obligations under the Heath Act 2006 and understand your responsibility to comply with [company name]`s Smoke Free Workplace Policy  whilst you are engaged on the Company`s premises.
 
The key provisions of the Policy as they apply to contractors are set out below. The person who acts as your point of contact for the Company will provide you will a full copy of the Policy if you wish.
 
Why should I be affected? 
 
The Company`s Smoke Free Workplace Policy meets the requirements of the Health Act 2006, which states that all enclosed or substantially enclosed workplaces and other public premises must be smoke free.
