Career breaks

There are a number of reasons why employees may want to take a break from their career, including to travel, undertake further education or to raise a family. 

 

Implementing a career break scheme has advantages to both parties. The aim of a career break is to enable the employee to preserve a job, including accrued salary and benefits, during an extended period of absence.
