The Government announced the closure of all schools on Friday, 20 March 2020. In light of this guidance, we understand that all SELT exams in the UK have now been suspended.

In an email from Trinity College, a provider of SELT exams, it was noted any individual with a booking between 21 March 2020 to 17 April 2020 will be automatically rebooked to an exam after 17 April 2020.

However, if you have an imminent visa expiry deadline, you must take legal advice to ensure you do not become an overstayer.

Whilst there is guidance from the Home Office for Chinese nationals, in respect of COVID-19, guidance in respect of all other foreign nationals remains pending. We expect further guidance this week.
