Data protection requirements are set to undergo major reform with the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25 May 2018. Companies need to ensure that they are aware of their legal obligations and comply with these to prevent information from being misused or falling into the wrong hands. With fines under the GDPR set to increase to up to €20 million or 4% of a company’s global annual turnover (whichever is higher), compliance is an issue companies cannot afford to ignore.

In the second instalment of our webinar series, Clarkslegal solicitors will look at the changes coming in the GDPR, hailed by the ICO as the “biggest shake up for consumers’ data protection rights for three decades”.

This webinar will cover:

  • The GDPR and the reasons behind it
  • An overview of the key changes and potential impact
  • Steps organisations can take now to prepare

Join us for our free webinar to make sure your organisation is ready for May 2018.
